Tension prevailed in Bihar even a day after Ram Navami, one person was killed

News Daily Digital Desk: Communal violence claimed the life of a man in Bihar. It is reported that one person died in a bomb blast in Nalanda’s Biharsharif area on Saturday. It is also reported that several people were injured in the incident. The situation is so dire that Section 144 is still in force in Bihar’s Nalanda district. Even internet services are down in large areas.
According to local sources, large areas of Bihar’s Sasaram and Nalanda were engulfed in flames on Friday evening. Many people were injured in minor clashes at several places. The unrest was reported when the Ram Navami procession was passing through mainly minority areas. Many people were injured in several isolated incidents. On Saturday too, there were reports of violence in large areas.

According to Bihar Police sources, a total of 80 people have been arrested since Friday. At least 20 people were seriously injured. Union Home Minister Amit Shah himself has expressed concern about the situation. He called Bihar Governor Rajendra Arlekar and inquired about the situation. In fact, the Union Home Minister had to cancel a program in Bihar due to this violence. Since then he has been worried about the whole matter.

However, the ruling alliance of Bihar blames the BJP behind this violence. JDU and RJD allege that BJP has become desperate after losing power in Bihar. That is why they are trying to stop riots with religious incitement. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that a full investigation of the incident is underway. Provocation will not get rid of anything.
