The 7-day anti-polio campaign in Sindh will begin from September 9. According to the spokesperson of the provincial health department, the anti-polio campaign will continue in 30 districts until September 15.
According to the decision taken in the important meeting chaired by Sindh Chief Secretary and Sindh Health Minister Dr. Ezra Pechuho, polio drops will be given to children traveling in 150 buses at Sohrab Goth Bus Terminal every day .
On this occasion, the Provincial Minister Dr. Ezra Pechuho said that children coming from Afghanistan and other provinces should be administered polio drops at railway stations and bus stands.
The provincial health minister said negligence in the anti-polio campaign will not be tolerated.
Chief Secretary Sindh said that all field officers, including deputy commissioner and assistant commissioners, have been in the field during the polio campaign.
