The British High Commissioner met with Maryam and Nawaz Sharif to discuss various issues

Rao Dilshad: British High Commissioner Jane Marriott met Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and PML-N President Mian Nawaz Sharif.

During the meeting held in Murree, education, health, climate change and other issues were discussed In the meeting, issues related to increasing education opportunities for students of Punjab in the top universities of Great Britain.

The Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz informed about the sustainable measures of the Punjab government to eliminate environmental pollution, in the meeting it was agreed to benefit from mutual skills to face the challenges of climate change.

Maryam Nawaz informed the British High Commissioner about the KPI system for monitoring the police and administration to improve the quality of government, the ongoing initiatives for Digital Punjab were also discussed in the meeting .

The Chief Minister Punjab invited the British institutions to invest in Nawaz Sharif IT City, the British High Commissioner was also informed about the project of solar panels in Punjab.

Speaking on this occasion, Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz said that Punjab has entered the era of digitization, soon Punjab will lead, British institutions will be welcomed to establish computer science university, Nawaz Sharif IT in Lahore, the city project and Twin Towers completed.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz appreciated the participation of the Foreign Commonwealth Office and Development in education and other sectors Zoe Ware, Political Consul of the British High Commissioner Islamabad was also present on the occasion.
