On Tuesday, the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) approved two new vaccines for Kovid-19 and one antiviral drug for emergency use, on this decision Dr. Dang’s Lab CEO Dr. Arjun Congratulating on the announcement, Dang said that he is extremely proud to be a part of this memorable journey as the central laboratory for end-to-end services regarding the Corbevax vaccine.
Chief Executive Officer Dr Arjun Dang said, “Dr. Dangs Lab has conducted multiple screening, safety and immunogenicity testing for three phases of Corbevax, ensuring multi-centre, transparent project management, quick results submission, accurate laboratory analysis and efficient management of bio-depots. Close coordination was also done with the participating survey sites, principal investigators as well as efficient management of pan-India logistics.”
The lab did extensive clinical testing at 30 places in the country
COVID-19 Vaccine from Biologicals E Ltd. Corbevax is the first locally developed protein subunit vaccine against corona virus that uses the spike protein receptor binding domain as the vaccine antigen.
The protein subunit class of vaccines has been successfully used against several viral pathogens over the years and is known to have excellent safety profile and consistent immune response, which has been carried out under Phase I, II and III at more than 30 sites in India. Has also been demonstrated in extensive clinical testing.

Dr Dangs Lab in New Delhi participated in the screening and immunogenicity testing for all the three stages following strict quality standards governed by GCLP guidelines mandated by regulatory authorities.
Dr Arjun Dang said that the lab has renowned experts in every field who have worked tirelessly and collectively to deliver quality and timely results to meet the growing need for an effective and safe COVID-19 vaccine.
