Web Desk: The construction of the District Secretariat in Lower Kohistan has not been completed, a report in this regard has been submitted to the Provincial Assembly.
In the report received from the Provincial Assembly, it is stated that the building of the District Secretariat in the district of Lohar Kohistan has not yet been established, although the approval for its building was given on November 16 of 2016.
The document states that an estimated cost of Rs 349,501 million has been earmarked for the construction of district offices in Lower Kohistan. Out of this, Rs.279.50 million is earmarked for civil works and Rs.70.00 million for land compensation.
The document says that the scheme started in June 2019, but the construction of the District Secretariat in Lower Kohistan was delayed due to non-availability of funds.
130.372 million has been spent on the scheme since 2019, and 21.62% of the estimated cost has been released since then.
The report presented in the Provincial Assembly also said that the construction work of 3% on the scheme has been completed, if more funds are released, all the work can be completed in two years.
