The death toll from the earthquake reached 310
The death toll from Monday’s 5.6-magnitude earthquake in Indonesia has risen to 310, while 24 people are still missing.
The series of aftershocks continues after the earthquake in Indonesia. Because of this, in the town of Cianjar in the province of West Java, the Friday prayer was performed in open places near the rice fields.
Due to the aftershocks, the earthquake victims sheltered in the tents are still in danger while the aftershocks are also hindering the relief operations.
Thousands of people have been injured by the earthquake in West Java, 56,000 houses have been damaged, while more than 62,000 people have been forced to move to safe shelters.
