The Economic Coordination Committee has given conditional approval to export 1 lakh tonnes of sugar

The Economic Coordination Committee of the Cabinet has given conditional approval for the export of 100,000 tons of sugar, the extension of 15 days in the permission period for the export of sugar is also approved.

20 billion rupees was approved during the current fiscal year in the economic coordination committee meeting under the chairmanship of Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb.

In the announcement of the meeting, it was said that the period of permission to export sugar has been increased from 45 to 60 days.

The committee decided that in case of export of sugar to Afghanistan, the money will be received in advance, the money will be received from Afghanistan only through the banking channel.

The ECC has approved an additional technical grant of Rs 276 million to the Ministry of Home Affairs.
