The fourth day ended with Bangladesh 143 runs out of victory with 10 wickets remaining

The fourth day of the second Test between Pakistan and Bangladesh has come to an end, with poor light and rain forcing today’s game to end early.

By the end of the day, Bangladesh had scored 42 runs without losing a wicket, just 143 runs away from a historic 0-2 series win against Pakistan.

Pakistan’s second innings

For Bangladesh Mehdi Hasan Miraj took 5 wickets, Tasin Ahmed 3 wickets while Shakib Al Hasan and Naheed Rana took one wicket each.

Bangladesh’s first innings

The visiting team was all out scoring 261 runs in their first innings.

At one point, 6 Bangladeshi players were out for just 26 runs but Latin Das scored a brilliant century and Mehdi Hasan scored 78 runs to get Bangladesh out of a difficult situation.

On behalf of Pakistan, Khurram Shahzad took 6 wickets and Mir Hamza and Salman Ali Agha took 2 and 2 wickets, while spinner Abrar Ahmed, who joined the team, could not take any wicket.
