The German airline Lufthansa suspended flights to Iran and Lebanon and the Italian consulate in Tehran was closed

German airline Lufthansa announced that flights to Iran and Lebanon will remain suspended until Thursday.

According to Arab media from Berlin, the German airline Lufthansa further stated that flights to Tel Aviv, Jordan and the Iraqi city of Erbil will continue from Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the Italian embassy in Tehran, the capital of Iran, said that the consular office will be closed for public services from April 14 for an indefinite period.

According to Arab media, the Italian embassy said in its statement that the consular office will continue to provide essential services for Italian citizens.
