Islamabad: (Web Desk) To investigate the audio leaks, the federal government has provided the alleged audios to the Inquiry Commission for research.
According to the sources, significant progress has been made in the investigation of the Audio Leaks Commission, the audios given by the federal government along with the transcripts have also been submitted under the signature of the authorized officer.
Sources have said that a total of 8 audios have been submitted to the commission.
Sources say that the names, positions and available contact numbers of the persons present in these audios have also been given.
It should be noted that a 3-member investigation commission headed by Justice Qazi Faiz Isa, the senior-most judge of the Supreme Court, was formed to investigate the alleged audio leaks on behalf of the federal government.
According to the notification, a judicial commission will be set up to investigate the authenticity of the audio leaks and the impact on the independence of the judiciary.
The audio of the conversation between former Prime Minister Imran Khan and Musrat Jamshed Cheema is also included.
