KARACHI (Newsdesk) The Deputy Commissioner of Central District withdrew the decision of holidays in educational institutions yesterday after issuing a new advisory.

In the first notification issued by the Deputy Commissioner, it was announced to keep the educational institutions closed in the entire district. However, this decision was withdrawn.

The decision was withdrawn in view of fresh recommendations from the PDMA and the Meteorological Department, the order said. According to the order, a new advisory has been issued by the PDMA and the Meteorological Department.

It is to be noted that the Meteorological Department has predicted up to 200 mm of rain in Karachi in 2 to 3 days.

The Meteorological Department says there is a possibility of intermittent rains in many parts of Sindh, including Karachi, till August 31, with strong winds and storms, and heavy rains in some places.

Heavy rain is likely in Karachi tomorrow morning or afternoon.

Earlier, in view of rains, it was announced that all private and public educational institutions of Hyderabad district will be closed tomorrow, while in Mirpurkhas district, educational institutions will remain closed for 2 days due to the rain
