All the five mentors of the Champions Cup team will receive one and a half crore rupees from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

PCB will pay Rs 50 lakh annually to all the five mentors under the 3-year contract. Officials hope to recruit new talent with the help of former stars. Thus, in three years, each ex-star will be able to get one and a half crore rupees.

The PCB says the mentors’ role is to identify and nurture talent, with each Champions Cup team having a 10-member support staff. They include head coach, vice coach, manager and others.

PCB’s announcement of 5 mentors included in the Champions Cup teams

It is to be noted that the PCB had announced the mentors of the Champions Cup team yesterday. Among them are Misbah-ul-Haq, Saqlain Mushtaq, Sarfraz Ahmed, Waqar Younis and Shoaib Malik and Sarfaraz Ahmed also performed the tasks of mentors with the game of cricket.

Sources say that PCB hopes that Saqleen Mushtaq will solve the problem. The new talent seen during the event will be trained with the help of former stars to form a backup force for the team.

Similarly, Waqar Younis recently left the position of adviser to the president and preferred the position of mentor.
