KHANEWAL, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 5th Sep, 2024) Thieves stole money, jewelery and other valuables from the house of a local shopkeeper at Village 168/10-R near Police Lines on Thursday.
According to police sources, Sheikh Sabar Ali had gone to meet his relatives with his family on Wednesday in the nearby village.
He returned to his house the next morning when he noticed that the locks of the house were broken. Later, he found money, jewelry and other household items missing from the house.
The concerned police registered a case and started investigation. The local traders’ union has expressed concern over the increasing incidents of home theft and has asked the District Police Officer (DPO) Ismail Karrak for strict action against the criminals.
