The Shinde-Fadnavis government’s eyes are now open. Dhangekar’s gang
Pune / Representative :
The Shinde and Fadnavis governments have faced defeat in the Kasba Assembly by-elections. MLA Ravindra Dhangekar warned the Shinde-Fadnavis government that their eyes have been opened and now they have started taking decisions.
Dhangekar said, there is nearly 10 lakh income in Pune city. All those income holders have to face many problems every day and the municipal administration was collecting income tax from them. Therefore, I have been raising the demand in the municipal hall as a corporator and when I went to the legislature as an MLA, I have been raising the demand that income tax should be exempted. It has to be said that the demand has been successful to some extent. In a meeting with Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, it has been decided to give 40 percent income tax concession. But this decision has to be taken by the Shinde-Fadnavis government due to the defeat in the Kasba Assembly by-election.
