The work of Ram temple in Ayodhya will be completed in September
Ayodhya: The construction of the grand temple of Lord Ramchandra in Ayodhya is going on at a fast pace. The temple will be completed in September 2023. Earlier it was claimed that the work of the temple would be completed by the end of December 2023. But it will be ready three months in advance, Shriram Janmabhoomi Teerthkshetra Trust informed on Friday.
Trust officer Prakash Gupta said that we are confident that the temple will be built three months in advance. In fact, it was expected to be completed by the end of December 2023. But the temple is going to be ready in September 2023 as the construction is going on fast. At present, the work of the octagonal sanctum sanctorum is in progress. In the first phase, 75 percent of the work of the temple has been completed. Now only 167 pillars are left to be erected. The roof work of the temple will start in the month of May-June.
The pictures of the construction of the temple were made public by the trust on Friday. The pillars of the sanctum sanctorum appear to have been erected in it. 24 of the 32 steps leading to the sanctum sanctorum have been completed. Trust member Dr. Anil Mishra said that the work of the temple will be completed ahead of time. The work on the beams of the sanctum sanctorum will be started soon. Carving of 200 beams has been completed.
