Three bouncers arrested for beating husband and wife at toll plaza

Police have arrested three bouncers in connection with the attack on a couple at a toll plaza in Haryana’s Gurugram, adjacent to national capital Delhi. The police gave this information on Friday. A couple was allegedly beaten up by bouncers at the toll plaza on the Gurugram-Sohna road on Tuesday afternoon.

DCP South Upasana Singh said that the accused have been identified as Ribhanshu, a resident of Barka village, Yogendra, a resident of Bahlpa village and Suraj, a resident of Kanpur.

Warning to toll companies
Singh said, “The three accused were stationed at the toll plaza and were checking vehicles running without registration. ACP Sohana also held a meeting with the officials of the toll company and warned them that such incidents would happen in future. Events do not happen.

On the other hand, the Toll Sangharsh Samiti team met the DCP at his office in Gurugram and handed over a demand letter against the increasing ‘terror’ of bouncers at the toll.

Ritu Yadav, who was traveling with her husband and family in the car, said that she told them at the toll plaza that they were residents of a nearby village, so they would not pay the toll. They asked the toll officials to remove the barrier but they did not comply and persisted in collecting the toll. Ritu said that after that she got down herself and started removing the barrier.

Ritu alleges that while she was removing the barrier, a bouncer attacked her. “A bouncer even jumped on her car,” she says. After this, the bouncer also beat her husband.
