Bhopal’s first saffron (orange) metro train with three coaches entered the capital on Sunday. Each coach weighing 42 tonnes was brought to Bhopal on a 106-wheeler trolley after covering a distance of 1,100 km. They reached Sehore border late on Sunday evening. As soon as it became dark, the trolleys were stopped at the Bhopal-Sehore border.
A team traveling with the trolley inspected the route from here to Subhash Nagar depot, then when the traffic on the roads reduced, the train was taken to Subhash Nagar depot at around 2.30 in the night. Here on Monday morning at 10 am, these three coaches will be unloaded with the help of crane. Let us tell you that the coach of Indore Metro was unloaded on 31st August.
