Tripura Assembly Election: ‘Manik Sarkar has seen it, Manik Saha has seen it, now Manikya will see it…’ Votes have accumulated

Agartala: People of Tripura have seen Manik Sarkar, Manik Saha. This time people may not see ‘Manikya’. Tipramotha chief Pradyot Kishore Manikya said in response to BJP’s political attack. I respect Mamata Banerjee a lot, Trinamool Congress will give great results in Meghalaya, said Pradyot Kishore Manikya. Making someone president does not change that society. I have given candidates in 42 seats, out of which I will win 31 seats. I will form the government in Tripura with single skill. Tipramotha chief Pradyot Kishore Manikya is confident in the election campaign.

Tipramotha chief Pradyot Kishore Manikya has already stormed the campaign. And BJP’s central leaders are repeatedly attacking that Tipramotha chief. As well as his team. Motha Pradhan, however, remains unconcerned. His only statement is that people have been deprived and fought for them. Tipramotha is going to fight in the upcoming assembly elections in Tripura not in alliance but in single skill. The Left-Congress alliance was keen to woo Tipramotha. The ruling party BJP was also interested in getting closer. However, they have made it clear that they will not go into alliance until they receive a written commitment from Greater Tipraland.

So Tipramotha chief Maharaja Pradyot Kishore Manikya said, “Tipramotha will fight the assembly polls on its own merits. We are not compromising with anyone. For the sake of the people of the nation, we will not enter into any compromise with the people.” Instead of waiting for Tipramatha, the Left-Congress has already almost prepared the seat agreement for the Tripura assembly polls. However, Tipra leaders have so far been adamant in demanding a ‘written commitment’ to a Greater Tipraland led by the Tipra Indigenous Progressive Regional Alliance.

“We are not in any alliance yet,” said party leader Vikram Manikya Devbarman, a Bubagra Pradyot of the Janjati community. Our only aim is to establish Greater Tipraland by protecting the interests of the Janjati community. Out of the 60 Assembly seats in Tripura, 20 are reserved for the Janjati community. In the 2018 assembly elections, the BJP won 10 of these and its ally IPFT won 8. CPM won both. Most of the IPFT leaders and activists have joined Tipra in the last few months. In this situation, the BJP was active in Tipra to prevent the Left-Congress alliance in the Janjati area. Among the total 36 lakh 74 thousand citizens of this north-eastern state, Bengalis are 24 lakh 14 thousand. On the other hand, there are 8 lakh 87 thousand people of Janjati community. Earlier, Pradyot Kishore Manikya had told BJP’s ally IPF to merge with them.
