Unjha market yard recorded 12 thousand sacks of coriander revenue- Double revenue of coriander in Mehsana Unjha market yard – News18 Gujarati
10 to 12 thousand sacks of coriander are being collected in Unjha Ganjbazar in March ending. The price of Eagle Coriander is seen from Rs.1200 to Rs.1250. The price of scooter quality coriander is Rs.1300 to 1400, while the price of extra coriander is Rs. They fell from 1800 to 2000. Due to the increasing revenue of coriander, piles of coriander have been raised in Ganjbazar.
Coriander planting more this year
As compared to last year, due to the increase in cultivation of coriander this year, the price is being softened. Here the income of coriander is coming from Jasdan and Gondal Panthak of Saurashtra.
Piyushbhai Patel, a coriander trader of Unjha Ganjbazar, said that this time, the price of coriander has decreased as the cultivation of coriander is more than last year.
In Mawtha, the heaps of coriander lying in the open, as well as the seeds of cumin and fennel, have been soaked, and the traders of the market have suffered.
Unjha Ganj Bazaar will be closed from March 27 till April 2
This year also the market yard will be closed from Monday 27th March to Sunday 2nd April due to March ending accounts. After that, the work of the market yard will start as usual from Monday, April 3. APMC Chairman Dineshbhai Patel and Secretary Dineshbhai Patel have said that the work including auction will be closed.
