Uttar Pradesh: Woman made serious allegations against BJP MLA and son, rape and assault case registered
In this case, the police said that on the basis of the complaint of the woman, sections 376, 313, 323, 504 along with sections 506 (criminal intimidation), 494 (remarriage in the lifetime of husband or wife) and 328 (poisoning) were filed against Laxmikant Verma. A case has been registered under giving hurt.

A woman has made serious allegations against BJP MLA Chhote Lal Verma and his son Laxmikant Verma in Agra district of Uttar Pradesh. The woman has lodged an FIR alleging rape, assault and harassment against the MLA’s son. At the same time, a case has been registered against the MLA for harassing the woman.
The victim woman said in her complaint that she is a friend of Chhote Lal’s daughter and used to visit his Agra residence from the age of 17. In the year 2003, she met Laxmikant Verma. She claimed that the MLA’s son invited her to his house, made her drink alcohol and raped her.
According to the complainant, Verma made a video of the act, threatened to kill and assaulted her. He had allegedly promised the woman that he would marry her. The woman claimed that a few years later, Chhote Lal’s son even married her in a temple and later forced her to abort several times.
According to the victim, when she went to Jalandhar in 2006, Chhote Lal got his son married to another girl. She claimed that even after this her harassment continued and the MLA’s son forced her to sign the divorce papers.
On this matter, the police said that on the basis of the complaint, Laxmikant Verma was booked under sections 376 (rape), 313 (abortion without the consent of the woman), 323 (punishment for voluntarily causing hurt), 504 (intentional act with intent to provoke breach of the peace) A case has been registered under the charges of insult committed), sections 506 (criminal intimidation), 494 (remarriage in the lifetime of husband or wife) and 328 (causing hurt by poison).
