#UttarPradesh: The comments made by the leaders of the ruling party at the Center on cow urine are not new. Uttar Pradesh Minister Dharmapal Singh has recently revived the practice of cow dung through a comment. On Friday, Dharmapala Singh said, This is not the end. Speaking to reporters, Animal Husbandry Minister Dharampal said that Goddess Ganga or “lives in the urine of cows.” The minister said, “If cow dung is sprinkled in the house, the defects of the environment or any other obstacle is removed.” He said the same thing about not only cow urine but also dung. Asked about the plight of cattle in the shelters set up for cattle, the Animal Husbandry Minister said his government was constantly striving for the development of cattle shelters and the problem would be resolved soon.

The minister also met party workers and MLAs before leaving for Banda. He later met with senior officials of the district and gave directions regarding the cattle shelter.

On the other hand, Yogi Adityanath said on Friday that all religions actually lead people to the same destination. Adityanath also urged all people to follow the path of religion. Yogi Adityanath has gone on a two-day visit to Varanasi. Yogi attended the coronation ceremony of Dr. Mallikarjun Shivacharya Swami as the 7th Jagadguru of Sri Kashi Peeth at the Bir Shaiva Conference organized at Jangambari Math in Varanasi.

Adityanath joined the function and said that there are different religions, communities and nations in India. “These are actually different ways to reach the same destination. Yogi added, “When a country is strong, its religion is also strong.”
