In Ward No.1 of the city, the complaint of contaminated water coming in due to mixing of drinking water in the new yard area has become permanent, and there is no solution to this. In Ward No. 1, around 100 houses in TP 13 area of Phulwadi Haji Park have been getting dirty black colored drinking water from sewage for the past one week, but the problem has not been resolved even after presenting to the Corporation. According to the Congress corporator of ward number one, they came to clean the drains yesterday but after cleaning there was no difference in the water. Tarun Nagar also has a sewage problem. The line has been cut due to complaints of sewage mixing with drinking water in the run of Nawa Yard Rasulji. Complaints of dirty water are coming in some place every day in this area.
According to the senior female corporator of Aaj Ward of Congress, the drains have been cleaned till 2.30 pm yesterday. If the water is not clear this evening, the line will need to be cut. When drains get clogged, these questions arise. On the other hand, as it is known from the circles of the corporation, when the water pressure is not available here, they put the motors and take water. As soon as the water comes in the evening, the motors are switched off. As a result, even the closed lines which are filled with overflow sewage water get mixed with the water under the pressure of the motor causing the sewage problem. Another problem arises when illegal water and sewage connections also occur in the new yard area, causing leakage. If the drains are cleaned regularly, the problem of contaminated water can be relieved.
