VIP number CH 01-CQ-0001 sold for 21 lakh 22 thousand – News18 Punjab

The final bid for fancy numbers was held on Friday by the Registration and Licensing Authority Department of the Chandigarh Administration. Chandigarh Registration and Licensing Authority conducted e-auction of CH 01-CQ series vehicle number 0001 to 9999. The remaining fancy registration numbers from May 24 to May 26 were also auctioned. No. CH 01-CQ-0001 sold the highest for Rs 21 Lakh 22 Thousand. CH 01-CQ 0009 has also given the department a revenue of 11 lakh 10 thousand rupees.
The craze of fancy numbers continues among Chandigarh residents. Chandigarh Administration’s Registration and Licensing Authority (RLA) auction of VIP numbers sold a total of 462 numbers in one day, generating an income of Rs 2 crore 57 lakh 68 thousand.
