Zimbabwe is the most miserable country in the world.. What is the rank of India?
Zimbabwe is the most miserable country in the world. In this list, Venezuela, Syria, Lebanon, Sudan, Argentina, Yemen, Ukraine, Cuba, Turkey, Sri Lanka, Haiti, Angola, Tonga and Ghana are in the first 15 positions. Professor Steve Hanke of John Hopkins University’s Applied Economics Department assigns ranks annually based on economic conditions, employment opportunities, bank loans, and people’s living standards in the respective countries.
In his report, Steve Hanke opined that Zimbabwe is in a worse situation than Ukraine, which is suffering from war, Syria and Sudan, which are suffering from civil war. Hanke revealed that inflation in Zimbabwe is skyrocketing, reaching 243.8 percent last year. There is a lot of unemployment there. Interest rates on loans have also increased. The people of that country are suffering from anemia. Steve Hanke tweeted that all this makes Zimbabwe the most miserable country in the world.
And in this list, India is at the 103rd rank. This report reveals that the problem of unemployment is high in India. America ranks 134. Finland ranks 109. According to the report, the happiest countries in the world are Switzerland, Kuwait, Ireland, Japan, Malaysia, Taiwan, Niger, Thailand, Togo and Malta. Above all, Switzerland has a pitifully low score. To give these rankings, a total of 157 countries’ economic conditions and living standards were analyzed.
