ZP Standing Committee | Now Digdoh, Nildoh have NAP status, unanimously approved the proposal in ZP Standing Committee
Nagpur. Citizens have been demanding for the past several months to give the status of Municipal Council to Digdoh and Nildoh Gram Panchayats adjacent to the city. Rakang group leader Dinesh Bang, local ZIP member Sanjay Jagtap, Leader of Opposition Atish Umre were also continuously following up. This proposal was approved in the meeting of the Standing Committee chaired by Zip President Mukta Kokadde.
Zilla Parishad will send this proposal to the government. Let us inform that in the year 2015, there was also a demand to include Digdoh and Nildoh in Nagpur Municipal Corporation and its proposal was also sent to the government, but the decision has not been taken yet. Now the proposal to form a city council by merging both the gram panchayats has been approved by the Zip and Kokadde has given instructions to send this proposal to the government. This has paved the way for the new Municipal Council to come into existence at the earliest.
There will be first aid room in the headquarters
In the meeting, it was decided to set up a first aid room at the zip headquarters. The chairman told that the blood pressure of an employee of the agriculture department had increased due to which he had fallen unconscious. That’s why the said decision was taken so that first aid can be made available to the employees working in the office immediately.
Government should take decision soon
Standing committee member and NCP leader Dinesh Bang said that Digdoh and Nildoh are dense settlements adjacent to the industrial area. There is a problem in the Gram Panchayat in doing public-oriented work, so it should become a city council. NCP is always in its favor. Now the government should take a positive decision as soon as possible keeping in mind the sentiments of the citizens here.
