New Zealand won the toss and elected to bat

New Zealand won the toss and elected to bat first in the first T20 match of the series against Pakistan, but the start of the match was delayed due to rain.

Due to rain in Rawalpindi, the toss of this match played at Pindi Cricket Stadium was delayed.

Three players from Pakistan namely Usman Khan, Abrar Ahmed and Irfan Khan Niazi will make their debut.

Pakistan team consists of captain Babar Azam, Saeem Ayub, Muhammad Rizwan, Usman Khan, Iftikhar Ahmed, Muhammad Irfan Khan, Shadab Khan, Shaheen Afridi, Naseem Shah, Muhammad Amir and Abrar Ahmed.

The New Zealand team includes captain Michael Bracewell, Mark Chapman, Josh Clarkson, Jacob Duffy, Dan Foxcroft, Ben Lister, Jimmy Neesham, Tim Robinson, Ben Sears, Tim Seifert and Ash Sodhi.
