The dollar rate once again started to move higher

Karachi (News Desk) The dollar has appreciated again against the rupee in the country.

According to the State Bank of Pakistan, the dollar closed at 278.43 rupees after the dollar rose by 4 paise in interbank transactions.

The dollar closed at Rs 279.04 on the last trading day last week. However, the value of the dollar has continued to rise since Monday.

Despite the positive development of the IMF talks, the appreciation of the dollar remains unremarkable.

But experts said that the demand for dollars increased due to the drop in remittances and the opening of LCs after the Eid holiday.

On the other hand, there are also reports that in early 2025, the rupee may appreciate and the dollar may fall to Rs 230.
