The ICC delegation arrived in Karachi to host the Champions Trophy 2025

As the International Cricket Council (ICC) gears up for the hosting of the Champions Trophy 2025 in Pakistan, a meticulous inspection of the stadiums is underway.

As per the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), a two-member ICC delegation has landed in Karachi to meticulously review the preparations for the prestigious tournament. The delegation, comprised of Senior Manager Event Operations Sara Edgar and Manager Event Operations Aoun Zaidi, commenced their assessment today at the National Stadium Karachi, where they will receive briefings from PCB officials.

Tomorrow, the head of the ICC delegation, Chris Tetley, is slated to join from Dubai, marking the next phase of the inspection journey in Islamabad.

Following their Karachi visit, the ICC team will proceed to Lahore, where they are scheduled to inspect the Gaddafi Stadium and engage with the Safe City Authority.

The final leg of the delegation’s journey will lead them to Rawalpindi on March 27th, where they will assess the infrastructure at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

Chairman PCB, Mohsin Naqvi, affirmed during a recent press conference the commitment to hosting the mega event in Pakistan. Naqvi emphasized the concerted efforts to enhance the condition of all cricket stadiums across the country in preparation for the Champions Trophy.
