In Nankana Sahib, two employees of the health department have been suspended following allegations of misappropriating ration meant for Ramadan packages. The incident involved employees from the Kot Fazil Primary Health Center, identified as Mushtaq Ahmed and Anjum, who were purportedly taking government-allocated ration items home. A video depicting their actions circulated widely on social media, prompting swift action.

To investigate the matter further, Finance Commissioner Rai Zulfiqar Ali has appointed an inquiry officer to look into the allegations and determine the extent of the misconduct. The suspension of the employees underscores the seriousness with which authorities are treating such violations, aiming to maintain transparency and accountability in the distribution of essential resources during Ramadan.
